Jon has gained his experience and knowledge working with well-known, established chefs from Slovenia and abroad. He has also constantly developed his skills by attending numerous training courses over the years. For many years, he was the right-hand man of Chef Uroš Štefelin and his sous chef when Vila Podvin caught the attention of Michelin. Now, he is continuing his culinary story together with his team of cooks in the Triangel Restaurant.
»I use techniques taken from contemporary French, Italian and Nordic cuisine when preparing my dishes. Local ingredients play the main role in them. Nevertheless, exotic ingredients can also be found on my plates, creating a perfect combination of exotic and local tastes.
